Our Organization

The organisational structure of the Széll Kálmán International Scientific Student Association ensures student self-governance, professional coordination, and transparent operation at multiple levels.

The highest decision-making body is the General Assembly, consisting of active members of the Student Association, responsible for defining strategic directions. The day-to-day operations are managed by the Student Committee, elected by the members, which oversees the operational functioning of the organisation. The Supervisory Board ensures lawful and transparent operation.

The backbone of our organization's professional work is the Departments. Their work is coordinated by the Management Team, ensuring efficient collaboration. The Departments perform the tasks necessary for the organization's daily operation. Here, our members can contribute to the operation of a real organization and develop their knowledge in the area that is most exciting to them.

The Student Association operates in a matrix structure, where members participate both in functional departments and in various projects. These projects can be:

  • permanent (strategic) projects, supporting the long-term operation of the Association (e.g. talent recruitment, academic development, community building),
  • temporary projects, linked to specific goals or events.
